Employer Incentives

The Personnel Group can assist employers to access a variety of Australian Government incentives to employ our jobseekers, including:

DES Incentives and Wage Subsidies

• The Wage Subsidy Scheme provides up to $1,650 (inclusive of GST) for jobs of at least eight hours per week, over 13 weeks.*
• Wage Start provides up to $6,000 (inclusive of GST) for jobs of at least 15 hours per week, over 26 weeks.*
• Restart provides up to $10,000 (inclusive of GST) for jobs of at least 20 hours per week, over 26 weeks.*
• The Personnel Group/Employer negotiated wage subsidies.*

There are other types of incentives available including;

• Workplace Modifications – An employer can access funding to change their workplace to enable a person with a disability to perform their duties.
• Workplace Mental Health Training – Your organisation maybe be eligible for funding for mental health first aid training your employees.
