Under the national Boosting Apprenticeship Commencements wage subsidy any business or Group Training Organisation taking on an apprentice between 5 October 2020 and 31 March 2022 may qualify for a wage subsidy of up to $7000 a quarter or 50 per cent per eligible apprentice for 12 months.
The subsidy is available to employers of any size, industry or location and your business or Group Training Organisation may be eligible if:
- you engage an apprentice between 5 October 2020 and 31 March 2022, and
- They are undertaking a Certificate II or higher qualification, and have an approved training contract.
